Verder is de Volvo uitgerust met: 18 inch lichtmetalen velgen, LED koplampen, sportonderstel, donker getint glas achter, in delen neerklapbare achterbank en LED-achterlichten. Over het digitale dashboard is goed nagedacht. Alle belangrijke functies binnen en buiten in één oogopslag. Afstand schatten bij het achteruitrijden? Niet nodig. U weet het precies, dankzij de achteruitrijcamera. Als u de adaptive cruise control inschakelt, regelt de auto zelf de snelheid en de afstand tot de auto voor u. Rijden-stilstaan, rijden-stilstaan. Niks is irritanter en vermoeiender dan filerijden. Daar heeft deze Volvo XC40 een oplossing voor: de file assistent, die met radarmeting permanent het tempo aanpast op de voorligger. Zelfs als die stopt. Bedient u de auto liever met uw stem? Dan is het goed om te weten dat spraakbediening aanwezig is. De uitrusting van deze Volvo is met connected drive services, navigatiesysteem met harde schijf, WIFI-hotspot, achteropkomend verkeer waarschuwing, R-design en kruisend verkeer detectie behoorlijk compleet. Pragmatisch en veilig als deze auto is, beschikt hij over diverse veiligheidssystemen. Belangrijk voor uw veiligheid en die van uw passagiers is de verkeersbord-detectie in deze auto.
